This is Ferrari’s revised California, which will be unveiled at the Geneva motor show in March 2012. It’s got more power, weighs less, and can be optioned with a chassis-sharpening Handling Speciale package, all features scooped by CAR last year. Mercedes-Benz has crafted a clever publicity stunt in and around Hamburg as part of its campaign to promote its zero-emission B-Class F-Cell car. The Stuttgart-based carmaker showed off its redesigned hydrogen fuel cell technology by sending out what appears at first glance to be an invisible car, aimed to highlight the automaker's point that the car is 'invisible to the environment'. Mercedes-Benz recorded reactions from passersby to create a 90-second online viral featuring an explanation of how the effect was created using LED lights and cameras.

The British International Motor Show at London's Excel arena attracted 472,300 people over the past fortnight. Although that's some way off the initial target of 550,000 visitors, it's a healthy rise on the 2006 event, attended by 415,000 people.
